Trade Show Afterthoughts

We just got our crate back from our last trade show of year (exhale), and we're reflecting on all the madness. Expectations were weighed, stockists were added, new foods were eaten and friends were made.

With two shows in Las Vegas, one in Atlanta and one right down the street in Denver, our products can confidently say they are well traveled and widely popular. Kicking off the trade showing season in Atlanta, after the unfortunately normal airport hitches, we had a killer location nestled between Oh, Hello Friend and The Unemployed Philosopher's Guild, across from the ever-entertaining Freaker USA and Sunny Life's massive inflatable flamingos. All of these intriguing exhibitors were our neighbors on the red "On Trend" carpet which made the entire experience strange, lively and worthwhile.

We picked up new awesome stockists including SQ/FT, Work the MetalCulinary Kitchen and Milaeger's to cover a wide variety of shops and interests.

We drooled over and ate hole-in-the-wall, phenomenal Korean BBQ at Heirloom Market with our creative Tay Ham friends, and walked along the Chattahoochee River discussing the ever popular past-time Shootin' the Hooch.

Gathering our thoughts and orders, we shipped our crate to Vegas for the Las Vegas Gift Market where we sweat a lot, but we also stocked our bike goodies at Silkwood, Kerrie Kelly Design Lab, Art of the Table and more!

We went swimming, ate pizza, slept hard from writing orders, played penny slots, explored the craziness of Vegas and sat on bird chairs.

After we set our things down in Denver, we picked them right back up to return to the Vegas party at the POOL Trade Show. We got real cozy with some free Sock It To Me socks, danced to Harmonica Lewinskis and were named one of Top Five Brands to See at POOL!

New stockists like Mod Pod, Morton James Boutique and Threads were added to the "Where to Find Vital" list. We walked the entire Vegas strip, munched on some kimchi sweet potato fries(!), enjoyed gelato along the Riviera in the Venetian, watched the chocolate fountain freely flow in amazement, saw water dance at the Bellagio Hotel and had our minds blown by the massive, colorful M&M's wall.

A couple weeks after the Vegas shenanigans, the Rocky Mountain Gift Show welcomed us home. Being just a few miles down the road, Denver Mart brought us loads of Coloradans we hadn't met before! We were stoked to add Everyday Outfitters, Hot Mama's and soon to be announced stores in Crested Butte, Colorado Springs and Littleton!

What's even more awesome about being at a trade show close to home is we were able to pull out all the stops for a lovely display. And to add to the awesomeness, we won first place for it! We couldn't be more proud of our Denver folks and our designs being spread around the country. #winning

Now that we have a few seconds to reflect before the holiday season and next year's shows, we appreciate all the hard work that goes into planning, executing, attending and walking the trade shows around the US. It's been a busy blast this year, and we are thrilled to have all of our new stockists! We'll continue to add new products and colorful designs for you, so keep an eye out for your personalized Vital emails. (Don't feel left out on updates... sign up here.)
